Kinesiologist

Originally from Sechelt, Jason obtained his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria in 2024, and is a registered Kinesiologist with the BCAK. Throughout his academic and professional career, he has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of populations, including high performance athletes and elderly individuals with mobility limitations. He is a strong believer that exercise can benefit everyone, no matter their current ability level, and he tries to uphold this belief in his own life as a strength training enthusiast. He likes to incorporate an educational component to his sessions with his patients by providing them with an understanding of the “why” in addition to the “how” of exercise. In doing this, he hopes to promote greater autonomy among his patients.

In addition to his passion for strength training, Jason enjoys spending time outside in nature. On the weekends, you can find him hitting the slopes up at Mount Washington, going for hikes in the mountains and forests, and surfing on the west coast. When life necessitates a slower pace, he enjoys playing board games with friends, reading, and cooking tasty meals.
